One of Aldo Leopold's most famous, and probably most widely cited, essays is a short piece with the memorable title 'Thinking like a mountain.' It is included in the San County Almanac but you can also read it here.In 1996 Comic book artist and writer Paul Chadwick took Leopold's phrase and used it for a 6 issue comic series where his reluctant hero 'Concrete' becomes involved with a radical environmental organization. If you like your ideas and preconceptions tested this is a great read.
