If you are starting to wonder what you are going to write your paper about and don't know where to start then don't forget to check out the blog archive from last Spring. I'm hoping most of you have plenty of ideas of your own but if you need some ideas some of the old postings provide some great jumping off points. They may also make interesting reading even if you already have a topic for your paper. You can access old posts in indexed form via the labels over on the right hand side, or just scroll back through time.
Here are just a handful of old posts that I think raise interesting issues worthy of further investigation:
- Nest Cam - are there innovative uses for technology in conservation?
- Specicide - can we ever ethically justify extinction?
- Overcollecting: Plants - is your local garden center part of the problem or part of the solution?
- Megapark for elephants - can sinks ever be a good thing?
- Unusual conservation tool - I can't think of a question but I still think this is an interesting story.
