Schistosome Sand Art... Pond Conservation in Ghana

This is a really interesting and artistic presentation about the cycle of effects of Schistosoma Haematobium on people in Ghana. I came across it because it was discussed in my lab and I thought that I should share it because it is extremely compelling and the information is presented in a very unique way that I know will spark a lot of people's interest.  The presentation suggests pond conservation as a means to control the problem and draws an outline of this parasite's ecology with ponds, vectors and people. PLEASE WATCH THIS, you will enjoy it.

Very cool. I don't usually edit posts but I took the liberty of embedding the video so more people will watch it.
